Traveling Guns
Traveling guns are used to spread manure, irrigate pastures, or water row crops.
How they work
Traveling guns are easy to operate. Use the hydraulic controls to set the reel in place for added stability. Attach the water source, then pull the gun cart to the length of the high-strength hose on the cart using a tractor or truck. Next, turn on your pump and the turbine on the reel or a small motor will slowly pull the cart in as it pumps. Once the cart is back at the reel, the turbine or motor is disengaged and the unit can be moved to the next location.
